  • Want to be trained to operate specialized NFPA-compliant testing equipment

  • What You’ll Do

    As a Testing Technician, you’ll play a direct role in helping departments keep their equipment safe, compliant, and ready for service.

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Preparing, setting up, and breaking down testing equipment
    • Ensuring all systems function properly before and after each evolution
    • Accurately managing inspection records and testing documentation
    • Logging results using laptops, tablets, or other electronic devices
    • Assisting with:
    • Aerial testing (NFPA 1911)
    • Ground ladder testing (NFPA 1932 / 1901)
    • Maintaining equipment accountability at every job site
    • Keeping company vehicles, trailers, and work areas clean and professional
    • Working around public facilities such as firehouses, schools, and parks
    • Operating vehicles and equipment safely and responsibly
    • Wearing appropriate PPE including gloves, safety footwear, and eye protection


    What Makes You a Great Fit
    • Trustworthy, organized, and sound in judgment
    • Willing to travel — including overnight stays when needed
    • Familiar with fire department operations, terminology, and culture
    • Firefighter certifications are a plus
    • CDL A or B preferred (not required)
    • Experience with — or willingness to learn — NFPA hose and ladder testing standards
    • Professional communicator who represents the company well in the field
    • Dependable, punctual, honest, and team-oriented
    • Able to lift, pull, and carry equipment weighing 50–100 lbs
    • Able to pass:
    • Fitness for Duty Program
    • Full background screening (MVR, Drug & Alcohol, Legal, Credit)


    Position Details
    • Job Type: Part-time, Hourly
    • Pay: Commensurate with experience
    • Hours:
    • 20–29 per week
    • 30–39 per week
    • Travel: ~75%
    • Work Location: In person, multiple locations
    • Language: English preferred

  • Salary : $29 - $39
