Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for a Hose Testing Technician based in Old Lyme, CT. The Hose Testing Technician will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and assessing the functionality and safety of fire hoses. Key duties will include conducting tests to ensure compliance with safety standards, maintaining accurate records, diagnosing and troubleshooting issues, and assisting with periodic equipment maintenance. Collaboration with team members and clear communication with clients will also be essential in this role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Quality Control related to equipment testing
- Strong Analytical Skills and Troubleshooting abilities for identifying and resolving issues
- Effective Communication skills for team collaboration and client interaction
- Attention to detail and a commitment to safety and accuracy
- Ability to work effectively on-site in a professional and focused manner
- Familiarity with fire service equipment is an advantage
