Warehouse Associate

JOB OVERVIEW: The Warehouse Associate position is an entry-level opportunity for motivated individuals seeking to be part of a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This role plays a key part in our warehouse operations, ensuring that customer orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and eager to learn about warehouse operations.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Accurately pick and pack daily sales orders for shipment to customersReplenish inventory stock as needed to maintain order fulfillment efficiencyStore goods in designated locations. Load and unload delivery trucks, ensuring proper handling of merchandiseAssist with cycle counts and inventory management tasks as assignedMaintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety protocolsVerifying incoming shipments against purchase orders and invoices. Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies. Report discrepancies and damage to relevant parties.Other duties as assigned.GENERAL SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:Ability to focus on details.Ability to stand for most of your shift.Knowledge of basic inventory control procedures is a plusAbility to use hand truck, pallet jack, box knife, step/ladder, tape dispenser, tape gun effectively & safelyKnowledge of safety protocols and practices in a warehouse setting a plusShould be comfortable occasionally lifting 12-24 lbs.HOURS: Monday-Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm with overtime as necessary including the weekends.MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:Typically, 1-2 or more years or related experience. PREFERRED EDUCATION:Typically, High School education, vocational training and/or on-the-job training.TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Travel typically less than 10%. Warehouse environment. No special physical demands required.SKILL:Very good understanding of the job and apply knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks. Apply acquired knowledge of procedures and external regulations.COMPLEXITY:Work on assignments that are moderately difficult and may require judgment and initiative. Understand implications of work and make recommendations for solutions. May be responsible for making independent procedural decisions.SUPERVISION:Work under minimal supervision and may determine methods and procedures on new assignments.PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS:Typically, to advance to a new job level, TSMs must demonstrate professional behavior and should consistently be at the high-end of meets expectations or consistently exceed expectations.The salary range for this position is $18.50-20.60.
