We are seeking a highly motivated Security Administrator to join our growing technology and cybersecurity team within a fast‑paced financial services environment. This is an ideal role for an up‑and‑coming security professional who wants to roll up their sleeves, take on meaningful technical work, and rapidly expand their skills. You’ll be part of a collaborative team, gain exposure to enterprise‑grade security tools, and play a key role in strengthening our security posture.
Strong communication skills are essential—you’ll interact with IT, business stakeholders, external partners, and leadership to ensure security controls are understood, implemented, and maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day‑to‑day security operations, including monitoring, alert triage, incident response, and vulnerability remediation.
- Administer and maintain security tools such as SIEM, endpoint protection, identity and access management, email security, and cloud security platforms.
- Assist with user access reviews, onboarding/offboarding, and privileged access workflows.
- Perform security log analysis and escalate issues as needed.
- Support patching, configuration hardening, and compliance activities.
- Participate in security assessments, audits, and risk reviews.
- Document processes, runbooks, and security procedures in clear, business‑friendly language.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, and application teams to ensure secure configurations and timely remediation of findings.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of security operations, automation, and monitoring.
Required Skills & Experience
- 1–4 years of experience in IT security, systems administration, or related technical role.
- Strong understanding of core security concepts: authentication, authorization, encryption, network security, endpoint security, and vulnerability management.
- Hands‑on experience with at least one security toolset (SIEM, EDR, IAM, email security, cloud security, etc.).
- Solid troubleshooting skills across Windows, Linux, or cloud environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills—able to explain technical issues to non‑technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and follow through on remediation activities.
- Curiosity, initiative, and a desire to learn new technologies and security disciplines.
Preferred (Nice to Have)
- Experience in financial services, trading, or commodities environments.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (SOX, NIST, CIS, ISO 27001).
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and their security controls.
- Basic scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
- Certifications such as Security , CySA , or equivalent—OR a strong desire to pursue them
