Customer Service Representative

About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to support customer accounts and ensure seamless order processing from receipt through delivery. This role serves as a key point of contact for customers, coordinating closely with shipping, production, and internal teams to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and on-time delivery performance.
Responsibilities
- Process and enter customer orders accurately into the ERP system.
- Manage and process Advance Shipping Notifications (ASNs).
- Support Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) programs for designated customer accounts.
- Communicate regularly with customers regarding order status, scheduling, and delivery updates.
- Coordinate with shipping and internal departments to ensure on-time delivery of customer orders.
- Assist in the resolution of customer complaints and quality-related concerns.
- Maintain and update customer account information and master data records.
- Provide professional and timely customer support while building strong customer relationships.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous customer service, order entry, customer support, or administrative experience preferred.
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- ERP system experience (Epicor preferred) is highly desirable.
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work effectively with customers and cross-functional internal teams.
