POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a Production Operator to support a fast-paced OEM manufacturing environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow instructions, and a hands-on approach to inspection and part finishing.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform visual inspection of parts for nicks, burrs, and defects; repair when possible
- Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other inspection equipment
- Operate equipment including jigs, fixtures, gauges, deburr tools, hand tools, and grit blasters
- Perform first-run inspections and rework parts as needed
- Make manual adjustments to parts to meet required tolerances
- Follow detailed work instructions and maintain quality standards
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1–3 years of experience in a production or shop environment
- Ability to use math (fractions, decimals, percentages)
- Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
- Ability to follow complex instructions and determine proper work sequence
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to manage time and complete tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent required
