- Current AART or LMRT accepted
Responsibilities
- Perform X-rays exams.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort.
- Operate imaging equipment safely and effectively while adhering to established protocols.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of imaging procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in radiological imaging.
- Stay updated on advancements in radiologic technology.
- Obtain authorizations for MRI and CT scan orders.
- Responsible for providing orders to appropriate facilities for imaging.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of human physiology and anatomy relevant to medical imaging.
- Preferred experience with orthopedic procedures.
- Problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare team members.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow protocols accurately.
