As a Tree Trimmer, you will play a vital role in maintaining the health and aesthetics of trees and landscapes, ensuring safety and quality in all operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform tree trimming and pruning to maintain the health and appearance of trees.
- Operate bucket trucks safely to reach high branches and perform necessary maintenance.
- Rig branches for safe removal, ensuring minimal impact on surrounding landscapes.
- Conduct regular inspections of trees to identify signs of disease or damage.
- Collaborate with team members to execute landscape maintenance tasks effectively.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
- Previous experience in tree care or landscape maintenance is preferred.
- Proficiency in bucket operation and rigging techniques is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of growing practices for various tree species is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to recognize potential hazards in the work environment.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining physical stamina.
- A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications related to tree care are a plus.
