Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access
- Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, including medical situations requiring first aid or CPR if certified
- Enforce company policies and safety protocols while maintaining a professional demeanor
- Document incidents accurately in reports and communicate effectively with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary
- Conduct loss prevention activities by observing suspicious behavior and intervening appropriately
- Manage conflict situations with tact and professionalism, de-escalating potential issues before they escalate
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, security breaches, or unusual occurrences
Qualifications
- Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred
- Certifications in first aid, CPR, or conflict management are advantageous
- Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV is desirable
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
- Excellent communication skills and professional appearance
- Ability to pass background checks and meet all company requirements for security personnel
