Responsibilities
- Monitor and control access to the facility through visitor logs, security checks, and identification verification
- Respond promptly to incidents, disturbances, or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed
- Perform routine inspections of the premises to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security reports with accuracy and professionalism
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by observing suspicious behavior and implementing preventative measures
- Provide first aid or CPR in emergency situations while following established protocols
Skills
- Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques including CCTV operation and physical patrols
- Experience in law enforcement, military, or security roles is highly desirable
- Ability to manage conflicts calmly and effectively through conflict management skills
- Familiarity with loss prevention strategies and security best practices
- Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and interaction with team members and visitors
- Ability to remain alert for extended periods while maintaining a professional demeanor
- Must have security license for the state of Washington.
