The Warehouse Associate plays a critical role in supporting daily warehouse operations and ensuring materials, equipment, and inventory are prepared accurately and efficiently for commercial jobs. Prior warehouse experience is preferred, and preference will be given to candidates with commercial dock and door industry experience. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and accurately document incoming shipments. Properly store materials and maintain an organized, well-labeled inventory system to support efficient job preparation.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, stage, and prepare materials for commercial jobs. Verify order accuracy to ensure technicians have the correct equipment and materials prior to dispatch.
- Equipment & Material Handling: Safely operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks. Assist with routine warehouse organization, material movement, and basic equipment upkeep. Additional certifications may be required prior to operating certain equipment.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all safety policies and procedures to maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse environment.
- Documentation & Systems: Maintain accurate inventory records, shipping documentation, and order tracking. Update internal systems as required to reflect material usage and inventory levels.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with technicians, operations staff, and leadership to ensure timely job readiness and to resolve inventory or material issues efficiently.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience: Previous warehouse or inventory experience preferred
- Commercial dock and door industry experience strongly preferred
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 100 pounds
- Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment
- Forklift certification will be required upon hire.
