Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of all areas including floors, restrooms, offices, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Conduct routine floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a pristine appearance.
- Handle janitorial duties including trash removal, dusting, window cleaning, and restocking supplies to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Execute specialized custodial tasks such as industrial cleaning and commercial cleaning projects as needed.
- Support facilities maintenance activities by reporting repairs or hazards promptly to ensure safety and functionality.
- Assist with light maintenance tasks such as painting touch-ups or minor repairs to uphold facility standards.
- Maintain cleanliness logs and report any issues or incidents to supervisors efficiently.
Requirements
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial, industrial, or residential settings.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care procedures including buffing and polishing.
- Experience with various cleaning equipment and supplies; familiarity with industrial cleaning tools is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery safely.
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining a clean environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
