What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Service Advisor position at Top Notch Automotive?
Top Notch Automotive is looking for an experienced Service Advisor with a fantastic attitude, strong sales skills, and a commitment to taking care of customers.This position uses a fully commission-based pay plan. Your earnings depend on your sales performance and results. The opportunity to earn up to $100,000 per year is not a guaranteed annual salary.
Our shop handles 300 vehicles per month, and our technicians consistently produce 50 hours per week. We need an organized, motivated advisor who can keep pace, communicate clearly, and turn inspection findings into approved repairs.
What you’ll do:
- Use Tekmetric to manage repair orders, build estimates, and communicate with customers.
- Explain inspection findings, repair recommendations, pricing, and timelines.
- Earn customer trust through honest recommendations and clear communication.
- Follow up on estimates and ask for the sale.
- Coordinate with technicians and parts suppliers to keep work moving.
- Track your sales performance and stay accountable to results.
What we’re looking for:
- Previous Tekmetric experience HELPFULL.
- Proven automotive service advising and sales experience.
- A track record of selling $120,000 or more per month.
- A friendly, professional attitude and strong teamwork skills.
- The ability to multitask in a busy shop.
- Someone who knows their numbers, welcomes coaching, and follows through.
