Top Marks Accounting is a growing accounting firm that delivers comprehensive bookkeeping services to small and mid-sized businesses. We are currently looking for a motivated and detail-focused Bookkeeper with strong QuickBooks Online experience to join our team.
This position is primarily remote, with occasional in-person meetings required. Candidates must reside in the Orlando area and have reliable transportation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Perform bank and account reconciliations
- Process payroll
- Prepare monthly and periodic financial reports
- Handle sales tax reporting and filings
- Maintain positive client communication and relationships
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (required)
- Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor (preferred)
- Strong understanding of GAAP, accrual, and cash-basis accounting
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong numerical aptitude
- Self-starter who can work independently
