Job Overview
Are you passionate about early childhood education and preparing children for kindergarten success? We are looking for a caring, dependable, and energetic Pre-K Teacher to join our team.
The ideal candidate understands child development, enjoys creating engaging learning experiences, and can maintain a structured, nurturing classroom environment while supporting children socially, emotionally, and academically.
Position Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30am-5:00pm or 8:00am-5:30pm
Pay: $13.00–$16.00 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement age-appropriate Pre-K curriculum and activities
- Foster a safe, positive, and supportive classroom environment
- Support kindergarten readiness skills including: early literacy, math concepts, social-emotional development,independence and self-help skills
- Maintain classroom supervision and ensure child safety at all times
- Follow Texas Minimum Standards and center policies
- Maintain open and professional communication with families and coworkers
- Complete daily classroom cleaning and organization tasks
- Observe and document children’s development and progress
- Work collaboratively with administration and teaching team
Qualifications
- C.D.A or Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education
- Prior childcare experience preferred
- Must pass criminal background check
- Must be reliable, professional, and punctual
- Ability to lift, move, and actively engage with children throughout the day
- Strong classroom management and communication skills preferred
