As an Installer at Top It Off Inc., you will work as part of a skilled team to install premium natural and engineered stone countertops and custom stonework for residential and commercial clients throughout the Pittsburgh area. Responsibilities include safely transporting, positioning, and finishing stone surfaces with precision while maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship, safety, and customer service. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to handle heavy materials safely, and a commitment to delivering exceptional quality and ensuring complete customer satisfaction. What You Will Do:
* Measure, transport, and install natural and engineered stone.
* Install stone in various applications such as countertops, shower walls, fireplaces, custom stone sinks, etc.
* Read and understand fabrication drawings and installation specifications.
* Inspect materials before installation to ensure quality and accuracy.
* Safely lift, carry, and set completed jobs and stone components.
* Secure countertops using appropriate adhesives, fasteners, and leveling techniques.
* Cut, trim, polish, and make field adjustments as needed.
* Install/set backsplashes, sinks, faucets, and other accessories when necessary.
* Troubleshoot installation challenges and develop field solutions.
* Communicate professionally and provide 5-star customer experience.
Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
* Experience in stone installation/fabrication, finish carpentry, cabinet installation, remodeling, millwork, or a related skilled trade preferred.
* Ability to work in a collaborative environment with fellow team members.
* Ability to read and understand measurements, drawings, and specifications.
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to lift and carry heavy materials in a safe manner.
* Valid PA driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $30.00 per hour
