Horticulture Laborer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cannabis Process Technician to support our cultivation operations. This role focuses on the critical handling of cannabis plants including, and trimming. The ideal candidate will follow strict hygiene and compliance protocols while maintaining product quality and efficiency. You will work closely with the processing and compliance teams to ensure all post-harvest activities are accurately tracked and executed according to state regulations and company SOPs. Willing to train reliable candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the full post-harvest process, including:
• Harvesting mature cannabis plants with proper handling techniques
• Trimming (both wet and dry) using scissors or automated machines while maintaining product integrity
• Packaging flower and trim for distribution, ensuring weight accuracy and label compliance
• Bucking
• Defoliating
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, tools, and equipment
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and compliance
• Work in accordance with state and local cannabis regulations (e.g., METRC compliance)
• Identify and report any quality control issues or contamination risks
• Maintain detailed records and documentation throughout the post-harvest process
• Support inventory audits and product tracking systems as needed

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in cannabis processing, manufacturing, food production, or similar environment preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work quickly and accurately
• Familiarity with post-harvest best practices, including trimming and curing, is a plus
• Comfortable working in controlled environments with strong odors (terpenes)
• Must have own transportation and be reliable- you will be asked to travel to different locations on a rotating basis
• Must be 21 and able to pass background checks as required by local/state regulations

Pay: $16.00 per hour
