Diesel Shop Foreman
Pay: Up to $40.00–$45.00 per hour (based on experience)

Top Gun of VA, Inc. is the leading Gunite and Shotcrete contractor in the Mid-Atlantic region. We've proudly served the industry for over 30 years and are looking for an experienced Diesel Shop Foreman to lead our shop operations at our Lorton, VA facility.
Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated, dependable, and hands-on Diesel Shop Foreman to oversee the maintenance and repair of our fleet of diesel-powered construction equipment. The ideal candidate is an experienced mechanic who can lead by example, prioritize repairs, and keep our equipment operating safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily shop operations and shop personnel.
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel-powered equipment, with an emphasis on air compressors.
- Schedule and prioritize equipment repairs to minimize downtime.
- Perform preventative maintenance and ensure equipment is job-ready.
- Maintain accurate service and repair records.
- Ensure a clean, organized, and safe shop environment.
- Coordinate parts ordering and inventory as needed.
- Assist with field repairs when necessary.
Qualifications
- Experience as a diesel mechanic with leadership or foreman experience preferred.
- Experience with International, Cummins, and Ingersoll Rand engines is highly preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- CDL license or the ability to obtain one.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational and communication skills.
Schedule
- Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Occasional Saturdays as needed
