Duties
- Apply window tinting films with precision, ensuring a flawless finish that meets customer expectations and industry standards
- Install Paint Protection Films (PPF) on vehicle surfaces to safeguard against scratches, chips, and environmental damage
- Cut glass materials manually or with power tools to fit specific vehicle models accurately
- Handle automotive glass components carefully during installation or replacement processes
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform glass fitting, removal, and installation tasks
- Assist with automotive glass repair and replacement procedures, ensuring proper sealing and fitting
- Operate company vehicles for transportation of vehicles or materials as needed
- Conduct vehicle detailing post-installation to ensure a clean, polished appearance
- Follow safety protocols during all operations involving heavy lifting, power tools, or hazardous materials
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining services performed and addressing client questions professionally
Skills
- Proven dealership experience or background in automotive glass installation and repair
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to auto body repair, auto glass, and vehicle maintenance
- Expertise in window tinting techniques and the application of PPF for optimal durability and appearance
- Familiarity with ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems) considerations during glass installation
- Ability to operate power tools safely while maintaining high-quality workmanship
- Knowledge of auto estimating software for assessing work scope and costs (nice-to-have)
- Physical strength for heavy lifting tasks involved in automotive glass handling and installation
- Excellent attention to detail in assembly, fitting, and finishing work
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients about services provided
