Job Title: Loader/Operator

Job Description:

The Load/Operator is responsible for operating heavy equipment to load products and maintaining accurate inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

· Equipment Operation & Loading: Operate loaders and lifts safely and efficiently to load customers with product. Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment. Always perform duties with proper PPE and safety awareness.

· Inventory & Financial Management: Monitor stock levels and coordinate with top buying customers. Manage credit and check transactions, ensuring accuracy in payment collection. Maintain daily records of sales and truck activity.

· Site Maintenance & Safety: Keep the yard clean and organized to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers. Ensure drivers comply with site safety protocols and report any incidents to the Supervisor or Safety Specialist.

· Administrative Support: Prepare daily/weekly reports for management as needed. Attend company-sponsored training and meetings.

Qualifications:

• · Experience: Proven experience in operations or site management, ideally within the aggregate or construction industry.

· Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating heavy machinery (loaders, bull dozers, skid steers, & lifts).

· Physical & Mental Fitness: Ability to perform equipment maintenance, operate machinery for extended periods, and maintain the emotional/physical fitness required for a fast-paced outdoor environment.

· Communication: Strong ability to read, write, and follow complex oral and written instructions.

· Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

· Professionalism: Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and personal standards of appearance/dress code compatible with company standards.

Work Environment:

• Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.
• Capable of working in outdoor conditions, including extreme weather and dusty environments.
• Ability to operate equipment for extended periods of time while maintaining focus and safety.
• A dynamic split between an office setting (scale house) and outdoor operations (aggregate pit/yard).
• Frequent exposure to varying weather conditions and outdoor elements.
• Use of both standard office equipment (computers, printers) and heavy industrial machinery.
