Day Crew Technician – Cleaning & Restoration

Top Cleaning & Restoration is seeking a dependable, hardworking Day Crew Technician to join our team.

This is a cross-trained position, meaning you will work across multiple services within our company rather than doing the same type of work every day.

Experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person.

Top Cleaning & Restoration provides residential and commercial cleaning, restoration, and specialty services throughout Vermont and New Hampshire. We are looking for someone who enjoys hands-on work, learning new skills, working as part of a team, and helping customers.

Services You May Be Cross-Trained In

Depending on the day and company needs, you may assist with or perform:

• Water damage cleanup and structural drying
• Fire and smoke damage cleaning
• Mold remediation
• Biohazard and specialty cleanup
• Carpet and upholstery cleaning
• Area rug cleaning
• Air duct and dryer vent cleaning
• Tile and grout cleaning
• Floor cleaning and maintenance
• Commercial and residential cleaning
• Contents cleaning, packing, and moving
• Demolition and removal of damaged materials
• Odor removal and deodorization
• Exterior cleaning and SoftWash services
• General restoration and cleanup

You do not need to already know how to perform every service. We are looking for someone who is willing to learn, take direction, and be trained across multiple areas of the company.

Typical Responsibilities

• Travel to residential and commercial job sites
• Drive company vehicles
• Set up, operate, and maintain cleaning and restoration equipment
• Assist with water mitigation and drying equipment
• Perform detailed cleaning
• Move furniture, contents, and equipment
• Assist with demolition when needed
• Take moisture, temperature, and humidity readings
• Take job-site photographs
• Complete required paperwork and electronic documentation
• Maintain clean and organized vehicles and equipment
• Follow company safety procedures
• Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers
• Help wherever needed as part of the day crew
• Pay close attention to detail and company quality standards

Schedule

Monday–Friday
8:00 AM–4:30 PM

Hours may occasionally vary depending on travel, customer needs, or job requirements.

Physical Requirements

Candidates must be able to:

• Lift and carry at least 50 pounds
• Work on their feet for extended periods
• Bend, kneel, climb stairs, and perform physical tasks
• Move equipment, furniture, and contents
• Work in residential, commercial, and restoration environments
