This is a full-time, on-site role for a Culinary Production Manager at our Elmsford, NY location. Working directly with the Director of Operations, the Culinary Production Manager will oversee daily food production operations, manage a team to meet production schedules, and ensure that quality and safety standards are adhered to. Responsibilities include planning production activities, supervising staff, identifying and resolving workflow challenges, optimizing efficiency, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, temperature controls, and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate daily production activities to ensure efficiency and compliance with food safety standards, including FSIS/USDA. SQF experience a plus.
- Oversee temperature-controlled processes related to heating, cooling, and storage to maintain product integrity.
- Assist with production planning and ensure timely ordering of all components and materials needed for production.
- Lead and train employees, ensuring a respectful and well-managed kitchen environment. Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Implement and enforce HACCP plans and other quality management protocols.
- Familiarity and experience with ERP programs such as Odoo or SAP a plus
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience coordinating and supervising production teams
- Knowledge of production processes and workflow optimization techniques
- Understanding of food safety regulations, quality assurance standards, and health & safety policies
- Organizational and time management skills for efficient scheduling and resource allocation
- Problem-solving skills for addressing production challenges and improving processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate and lead
- Previous experience in food production or manufacturing is highly preferred
- Familiarity with temperature control processes, including heating and cooling in a production environment.
- Bilingual Spanish preferred. The candidate must be comfortable communicating effectively with staff, whether through direct language skills or translation tool.
Work Hours and Compensation:
Shift: 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Compensation: $70,000 to $90,000 annually, benefits package
