Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs while maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area
- Engage clients through social activities, companionship, and communication to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being
- Transport clients as necessary, such as the grocery store and appointments
- Light Housekeeping
Requirements
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or residential care homes is preferred
- Ability to perform safe patient lifting practices and manual handling with heavy lifting when necessary
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments is advantageous
- Valid driver’s license for driving responsibilities related to home & community care or client outings
- Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration
