Job Overview
Minuteman Press Oceanside is seeking a part-time Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional service and ensuring smooth order flow start to finish. You will interact directly with business clients, maintain accurate customer records in our system, and communicate with our production team to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met.
Our clients include local businesses, organizations, and professionals who rely on us for high-quality print, promotional, and design services to help them grow.
Job Responsibilities
- Handle incoming sales requests via phone, email and in person.
- Conduct follow-up calls on quotes.
- Maintain an updated CRM.
- Make calls to convert prospects into sales.
- Manage customer inquiries and correspondence throughout the order process.
- Enter orders into proprietary management software.
- Understand customer requirements and enter details into workorder system.
- Ensure quality by reviewing/approving print based on customer requirements.
- Ensure branded packaging that impresses the customer.
- Maintain an organized and clean workspace.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- 3 years of experience in customer service and production within the print industry.
- Proficiency with digital printing, paper types, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail (print sizes, graphic resolution, crop marks).
- Effective time management with the ability to prioritize tasks and execute.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable taking initiative.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Willingness to learn new processes and adapt to evolving business/customer needs.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Will receive training CRM and company proprietary software.

Position
- Part-time position - expect to work 30 hours a week. Flexible 5-hour window between 9AM – 5PM, Monday – Friday. This role will have 2-months of training and has growth opportunities on pay and timing based on the candidates goals. Pay commensurate with skill, experience & on the job learning.
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
