Top Ag Cooperative is looking for a dedicated, safety-minded Propane Driver & Service Technician to join our team in Venedy, IL. In this role, you'll deliver propane and provide installation, maintenance, and repair services for residential and agricultural propane systems - directly supporting the local farmers and communities we serve.
What You'll Do
- Safely deliver propane and install, inspect, and maintain customer tanks and systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot propane system issues for residential and agricultural customers
- Respond to service calls, including after-hours emergencies when needed
- Accurately complete work orders, tank leases, and billing documentation
- Provide prompt, courteous customer service and keep customers informed on safe product handling
- Maintain vehicles, tools, and facilities to high safety and cleanliness standards
- Uphold and promote safety compliance (OSHA, EPA, DOT, and company policies)
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid Class A or B CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements
- 1 years of experience in propane, HVAC, or a related service/delivery field preferred
- CETP certification required within 6 months of hire; NH3 Competent Attendant Training required
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Effective communicator - verbal and written
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work in varying outdoor conditions
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
