Ag Equipment Operator & Applicator – CDL Preferred
$19–$30/hour | Full-time | Pierron, IL | Home every night
Top Ag Cooperative is hiring at our Pierron agronomy location. You’ll be the one who makes the season happen: running sprayers and spreaders, applying NH3, hauling fertilizer and seed to local farms, and keeping our equipment in top shape. If you grew up around farming, like running equipment, or want to learn the ag business from the ground up, this is a great fit. A CDL is a big plus but not required.

What you’ll do
- Operate spraying, spreading, and NH3 application equipment
- Haul and deliver fertilizer, chemicals, seed, and NH3 tanks to customers
- Blend, load, and unload products at the facility
- Inspect, service, and maintain trucks and application equipment
- Help with inventory, facility upkeep, and customer service
What you need
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to work long days and weekends
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort running equipment
- High school diploma or GED
Big pluses
- Class A CDL (Hazmat and Tanker endorsements even better)
- Farm, custom application, or ag retail experience
- Forklift or skid loader experience
The work: This is outdoor work in every season, from -20° to 100°. It involves lifting up to 60 lbs, climbing ladders, and extended hours when the season demands it.

Pay: $19.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
