Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):
1. Patient Support:
- Greet patients warmly upon arrival and departure
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, patient check in/out, and manage patient inquiries, reply to incoming emails.
- Maintain and manage patient records in compliance with HIPPAA
- Help keep office clean & tidy
- Assist with treatment coordination, explaining procedures and addressing patient concerns
2. Insurance Support:
- Verify dental insurance benefits for patients before appointments.
- Submit insurance claims for dental procedures and follow up on any discrepancies.
- Process insurance payments and manage patient billing inquiries
- Coordinate with providers to ensure accurate procedure documentation for billing.
3. Administrative Support:
- Collect and record patient payments.
- Coordinate and communicate with team members to ensure seamless patient flow.
- Assist in the ordering and inventory of front office supplies.
4. Continuous Learning:
- Stay updated with the latest insurance changes and billing procedures.
- Attend and participate in morning huddles, office meetings, training sessions, and workshops as necessary.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent. (Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.)
- Previous experience in dental front office management, preferably with insurance verification and billing.
- Experience with Oryx dental software is a plus but not required
- Strong understanding of dental insurance processes, dental terminology and procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Confident, polite, organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently.
- Ability to maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward patients at all times.
