**Overview**:
We are a dynamic, fast-growing startup dental practice seeking an experienced and motivated Dental Office Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure the smooth running of the office.
The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and excited to be part of a growing team. As the office manager, you will play a crucial role in managing the business side of the practice, leading the administrative staff, and ensuring exceptional patient experiences.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Office Operations**: Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the dental practice, including scheduling, patient flow, and ensuring the office runs efficiently.
- **Team Leadership**: Supervise and support front office staff, dental assistants, and other non-clinical staff members.
- **Financial Management**: Manage patient billing, accounts receivable, and ensure accurate payment posting. Work with the dentist on budgeting and expense management.
- **Patient Relations**: Ensure an excellent patient experience from check-in to check-out, handling patient inquiries, scheduling appointments, and resolving any concerns.
- **Vendor and Supply Management**: Maintain relationships with dental suppliers, order supplies, and manage inventory levels.
- **Compliance**: Ensure that the office complies with all local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA and HIPAA standards.
- **Marketing and Growth**: Assist in creating and implementing marketing strategies to grow the practice. Collaborate with external marketing teams to increase patient volume.
- **Technology Management**: Oversee the dental practice management software, ensuring that it is up-to-date and being used efficiently by the team.
- **Reporting**: Provide regular updates to the dentist and stakeholders regarding office performance, KPIs, and patient satisfaction.
**Qualifications**:
- **Experience**: 3-5 years of experience in dental office management or a similar role in healthcare administration, preferably in a startup or growing business environment.
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or a related field preferred.
- **Software**: Proficient in dental practice management software (e.g., OpenDental, Eaglesoft, or similar).
- **Skills**:
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Financial acumen with budgeting and billing experience
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of dental terminology, insurance billing, and coding (preferred)
