Job description
Growing pediatric dental office seeking a dependable, skilled, and energetic assistant to add to our growing team. We are looking for a dedicated person with a positive attitude and eager to work in a team environment. Our office is committed to providing quality and compassionate dental care to toddlers, children, and teens so a love for children is a must. Experience in a pediatric dental office is not required but experience as an assistant is required. Could be required to work in Fayetteville location once or more each month.
Duties of the assistant include:
- Prepare examination and treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and setting up proper equipment for procedures
- Update and maintain patient dental records in Denticon software
- Obtain diagnostic dental radiographs including bitewings, periapical, and panoramic x-rays
- Provide support/assistance to dentists, and other team members as needed during procedures
- Prevent the spread of infection and disease by maintaining a surgically clean work environment
- Educate patients and parents by giving oral hygiene instructions, pre and postoperative instructions
- Work in a team environment with other dental assistants to help maintain efficiency in the office
- Must have current license in the state of Arkansas.
The position will be Monday-Thursday 7:15am-4:30pm.
