Tooley Clinic Pharmacy is a locally owned hometown pharmacy dedicated to providing exceptional, personalized care to our patients. We are looking for an experienced Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) to join our team primarily as a Compounding Specialist.
This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented pharmacy technician who takes pride in accuracy, consistency, and quality work. Our compounding personnel play an important role in preparing customized medications for our patients, and we are looking for someone who understands the importance of precision in every preparation.
Position Responsibilities:
- Prepare compounded medications according to established procedures and quality standards
- Accurately perform pharmaceutical calculations, measurements, and conversions
- Maintain strict attention to detail throughout the compounding process
- Follow all safety, cleanliness, documentation, and compliance requirements
- Assist with inventory management and maintaining compounding supplies
- Work collaboratively with pharmacists and the pharmacy team to provide outstanding patient care
- Maintain a professional, organized, and efficient work environment
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Current Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification required 2 years of on-the-job experience
- Prior pharmacy compounding experience strongly preferred
- Strong math skills and confidence working with numbers and calculations
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to follow procedures consistently and maintain high-quality standards
- Dependable, organized, and able to work independently while supporting a team
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
Schedule:
Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM–5:30 PM
This position requires consistent availability during these hours.
