Position: Pastry Chef/ Baker

Type: Part-Time

Location: Hamtramck, MI

Responsibilities

• Create a variety of high-quality pastries including but not limited to cakes, croissants, specialty desserts, and seasonal sweets.
• Develop new, unique, and trendy items that fit our brand.
• Prepare all baked goods consistently, efficiently, and with attention to detail.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen according to food safety standards.
• Collaborate with the team to share your methods and ideas.

Qualifications

• Proven pastry experience with a strong portfolio of baked goods and desserts
• Skilled in cake decorating, baking, food preparation, and food handling techniques
• Familiarity with various culinary tools used in pastry arts
• Experience working in a food industry environment such as restaurants or catering services
• Creativity and trend awareness and passionate in trying new ideas.
• Comfortable teaching or demonstrating baking techniques.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for kitchen hygiene
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
