Tony's Taco Shop in Salem, OR is seeking a Front of House / Prep Team Member (Cashier & Food Prep) to join our strong team. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, and engaged.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Accurately process customer orders and handle payments (cash, credit/debit cards, etc.).
- Provide information about menu items and promotions.
- Ensure the cash register is balanced at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with packaging and handing out orders to customers.
- Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Adhere to all safety and health regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Basic math skills.

Physical Requirements:
