Line Cook

About the Position
We are looking for a dependable, skilled, and motivated Line Cook who takes pride in their work and cares about food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and organization. Responsibilities
● Prepare and cook menu items according to restaurant standards and recipes.
● Ensure all dishes are prepared with attention to detail, quality, and presentation.
● Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and work station throughout each shift.
● Follow proper food safety, sanitation, and storage procedures.
● Assist with inventory counts, monitor ingredient levels, and communicate when supplies need to be replenished.
● Help with receiving, storing, and rotating inventory to minimize waste.
● Properly label and date food items and maintain organized storage areas.
● Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining food quality and consistency.
● Communicate respectfully and work cooperatively with kitchen staff and management.
● Follow opening, closing, and cleaning procedures.
● Take pride in your work and contribute to a positive, professional kitchen environment.
Qualifications
● Minimum of 2 years of line cook experience in a restaurant.
● Strong cooking skills and knowledge of kitchen operations.
● A genuine appreciation for food quality and presentation.
● Excellent cleanliness, organization, and attention to detail.
● Ability to assist with inventory management and stock organization.
● Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Compensation
Pay ranges from $17–$20 per hour, based on experience, skill level, and qualifications.
