Shift Time: 6:00a-8:00a and 3:00p-8:00p (Weekdays only )
This job requires a morning routine and evening routine with one individual that needs served. Staff will be required to come in at 6:00a to 8:00a to preform morning routine (medication administration, make breakfast, assist with getting ready for work with verbal prompts). Staff will then return at 3p to 8p to perform evening routine (go for a walk, community activities, make dinner, assist with bathing). No heavy lifting required.
Duties Include:
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing (help pick out outfits) and grooming.
- Administer medications following care plans as well as giving insulin.
- Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks including cleaning common areas and personal spaces
- Document care activities accurately in compliance with healthcare standards and care plans, ensuring seamless communication among team members
- Provide transportation to doctors appointment when needed.
Experience
- Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards essential for patient privacy protection
- Demonstrated ability to work compassionately with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges
- Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and family engagement in care processes
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
