Description

Essential Duties:

• Roasting coffee consistently, efficiently, and to current standards.
• Ensure that roasting schedule runs efficiently, accurately, and on-time; schedule pre-roasting to align with production schedule.
• Attention to detail while logging green coffee and use inventory management system to record roasted coffee.
• Participate in coffee cupping, espresso labs, and other quality control activities and continuing education as necessary.
• Keeping up with daily, weekly, monthly and annual equipment maintenance.
• Ability to develop roast profiles and teach specialty coffee roasting.
• Participate in on-the-job training for warehouse and manufacturing processes, corporate policies, safety procedures, GMP Standards as defined by Supervisor and / or Manager.
• Adheres to all environmental, health and safety SOP's, equipment, policies, and procedures, including any department specific requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and occasionally up to 60 lbs.
• Must be passionate about coffee and coffee roasting.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment thanks to professionalism, organization skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Have solid math, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Partner with multiple departments effectively.
• Standing for long periods of time.
• This is a Tuesday through Saturday shift.
