Are you someone who loves the energy of a bustling Local Sports Pub? We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our team in a vibrant and fast-paced environment. As a member of our bar staff, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Your expertise in bartending and knowledge of fast paced dining & take out will enhance the overall experience for patrons, ensuring they leave satisfied and eager to return. Looking for someone flexable to also work on our 2nd floor Bar/Game/Party room on the weekends and for parties.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with established recipes and standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and responding to inquiries promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for order processing, cash handling & 3rd Party Operations Sytesm (Doordash, Uber Eats, Ect.)
- Assist with inventory by monitoring stock levels of beverages and supplies, reporting as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food handling practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders and ensure timely service.
- Stay informed about menu items, specials, and promotions to effectively communicate with guests.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create positive guest interactions.
- Experience in dining or fast-food service establishments is preferred.
- Proficient in bartending techniques, including mixing drinks and pouring draught beer.
- Familiarity with POS systems for efficient order processing and cash handling.
- Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
- Basic understanding of retail math for managing transactions accurately.
- Sales skills to promote menu items effectively and increase revenue opportunities within the bar area.
- Previous experience in the food industry is a plus, contributing to a well-rounded skill set for this role.
