Job Summary
As an Automotive Technician, you’ll inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicles to help customers get back on the road safely. You’ll use automotive diagnostic tools, schematics, and wiring diagrams to identify issues across vehicle systems, then complete repairs with care and clear communication. Dealership experience and familiarity with CDJR vehicles are welcome, but not required. Rate of pay will be based on experience.
Duties
- Perform automotive diagnostics and vehicle maintenance, including work on powertrains, transmissions, diesel engines, and suspension systems.
- Diagnose and repair automotive electrical systems, interpret schematics and wiring diagrams, and work with advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS).
- Complete alignment, maintenance, and automotive repair using hand tools, power tools, and other appropriate equipment.
- Document findings, support auto estimating, and explain recommended services to customers.
- Your impact: Accurate diagnostics and dependable repairs help customers make informed decisions and keep their vehicles operating safely.
Qualifications
- Mechanical knowledge and mechanic or service technician experience; dealership experience is preferred.
- Technical proficiency with automotive diagnostic tools, vehicle systems, automotive service, and repair procedures.
- Ability to interpret schematics and automotive wiring diagrams and work on transmissions, powertrains, suspension, and diesel engines.
- Customer service skills, attention to detail, and safe use of hand tools and power tools.
- Experience with CDJR vehicles, PA state inspection/emissions is a plus.
Pay: $8.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
