Role Description This full-time, on-site Sales and/or Service Agent role is based in Metairie, LA. The Sales Agent will meet with prospective and existing customers to understand their insurance needs, present suitable State Farm products, and provide clear explanations of coverage options. Daily responsibilities include generating leads, following up on inquiries, preparing quotes, processing applications, and maintaining accurate customer records. The Sales Agent will handle customer questions, assist with policy changes, and support claim-related inquiries in coordination with the office team. The role also involves participating in ongoing training, staying current on State Farm offerings and insurance regulations, and contributing to local marketing and outreach activities to grow the agency’s customer base.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain insurance concepts clearly and build trust with diverse customers.
- Demonstrated Customer Service experience, focusing on responsiveness, problem-solving, and maintaining a positive client experience.
- Proven Sales skills, including prospecting, lead follow-up, and closing, preferably in insurance or financial services.
