Job Overview
We are a small family business seeking a technician that is motivated, honest and has good work ethic. We have been in business for 18 years now and growing every year. We are for most looking for a technician, but Install experience and ability to help on change outs a plus. We bonus on all change outs and can discuss during the interview. We offer 2 weeks paid vacation per year and do performance bonuses twice a year.
Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of HVAC systems to identify operational issues.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as filter replacements, system calibrations, and cleaning to ensure peak performance.
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical problems using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools
- Repair or replace faulty components including compressors, motors, valves, thermostats, and electrical wiring with precision.
- Maintain detailed service records and document all repairs for accountability and future reference.
Experience
- Proven experience as an HVAC technician or service technician with a minimum of 5 years experience
- Hands-on experience with HVAC design principles, schematics interpretation, and equipment repair is essential.
- Field service experience working directly on air conditioning units and ventilation systems,
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Must have EPA certification type 2 or universal
Pay: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour
