Inventory Acquisition Specialist Job Responsibilities

• Contact current and prospective customers regarding vehicle purchase opportunities

• Identify customers interested in selling or trading their vehicles

• Build and maintain relationships with previous customers and new leads

• Generate appointments for vehicle appraisals and acquisitions

• Work closely with sales and management teams to meet inventory acquisition goals

• Follow up consistently through phone, text, email, and CRM systems

• Maintain accurate customer records and activity tracking

• Stay informed on current market conditions and vehicle values

• Assist in sourcing quality pre-owned inventory for the dealership

Inventory Acquisition Specialist Benefits and Compensation

• Pay range:$7,500 - $15,000 per month

Acquisition Specialist Qualifications

• Proven experience in automotive acquisition, sales management, or dealership operations

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong customer engagement ability

• Leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide staff

• Strategic thinker with strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities

• Customer-first mindset with a consultative approach to trade-ins and vehicle acquisition

• Comfortable using CRM systems, email, and standard office software

Corporate requirements: Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record, able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
