As an Automotive Service Technician with Tonkin Family of Dealerships, you will be instrumental in diagnosing and repairing our customers' vehicles to the highest standards. Your expertise and attention to detail will ensure that our clients drive away with confidence and satisfaction.
Automotive Service Technician Job Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and repairs
- Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers about vehicle conditions and repair needs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations

Automotive Service Technician Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Automotive Service Technician, with a strong understanding of vehicle systems and components
- Manufacturer certification or equivalent preferred
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools, repair equipment, and technology
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical school training is a plus
Corporate requirements: Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record, able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen, THC not screened for.
