We’re looking for a dynamic and digitally-savvy Channel Marketing Specialist to drive strategic marketing initiatives across our partner ecosystem. In this role, you'll be responsible for developing and executing high-impact digital marketing campaigns that support our channel partners by generating acquisition, increasing retention, and accelerating revenue growth. You’ll collaborate closely with sales, partner managers, and digital teams to deliver co-branded programs, scalable assets, and data-driven insights that make a real difference. Digital proficiency in Walmart Connect self service tools and Roundel Media services is required. Travel requirements are expected to be 20%, MUST BE BASED WITHIN 2hr DRIVE OF MINNEAPOLIS, and the role reports to the Director, Retail & Trade.
Duties/Responsibilities:
● Develop and execute channel marketing strategies with a heavy focus on digital—Onsite display, product, and brand sponsored ads. Offsite display that drives back to retailer brand pages and product shelf.
● Design and manage joint marketing campaigns with partners that drive awareness, engagement, acquisition and retention.
● Own the creation of digital enablement assets for partners, including toolkits, landing pages, email templates, and social copy.
● Leverage marketing project management platform (Asana, Confluence, etc) to keep projects organized and visible to cross function partners and Leadership.
● Collaborate with channel partners and ecommerce teams to enhance digital brand pages and product detail pages (PDPs), ensuring content accuracy, visual consistency, and alignment with brand standards. Use performance analytics and PDP score data to identify optimization opportunities that improve search visibility, engagement, and conversion rates across partner platforms.
● Analyze campaign performance using key metrics and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement. Work with the internal digital team on best practices and actionable key word combinations.
● Work closely with product marketing to align messaging, positioning, and content with digital partner initiatives.
● Ensure brand consistency across all digital partner communications and platforms
- Project Management: Work closely with the Retail & Trade team on various retail projects, overseeing each from inception to completion. Ensure seamless execution and integration across all marketing activities.
- Program Development & Execution: Assist the Trade Marketing team in developing and executing retail programs while briefing Sales on our integrated marketing strategies across multiple media and marketing channels.
- Project Organization: Plan, execute, and recap projects and programs cross-functionally. Maintain accurate records and documentation of progress using Asana or similar project management tools.
- Creative Coordination: Support creative requests and provide feedback. Ensure cohesive integration of marketing activities across all channels. Bring a creative eye to the process for efficient briefing and execution.
- Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data on program performance. Prepare detailed reports to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Retail Program Coordination: Manage logistics for products and displays at events and various retail programs.
- Travel: Ability to attend various events, go in office for retail meetings for onsite set up/coverage and additional hands-on support
- Partnership Support: Assist in executing Trade Marketing programs for key partnerships, including retailers, licensors and various events.
Qualifications:
- Digital excellence in Walmart Connect self service tools and Roundel Media services
- MS Office & Google Suite Proficient (Excel & Google Sheets intermediate)
- Outstanding organizational skills and cross functional communication
- Proficiency in PM tools (Miro, Asana, Wrike, Cross cap, etc)
- Exceptional Time Management and flexibility a must
● A bachelor’s degree and minimum of 3 years in a marketing role
● Exceptional organizational abilities with a keen attention to detail and design
● Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously with efficiency in time management
● Strong computer skills, including experience with Google Suite, Slack, and Asana or similar project management systems
● Ability to collaborate effectively, take direction, and work independently
● Passion for Retail: Genuine interest in retail and enthusiasm for supporting a growing brand in the U.S. market.
● Candidates with experience with/at Target and Walmart is required
