Four days per week, with flexible schedule
Long Term Substitute Occupational Therapist. Must hold current, valid NYS license as an Occupational Therapist and fingerprint clearance.
RESPONSIBILITIES: -Provide IEP mandated occupational therapy services and progress monitors annual goals.
END DATE: 11.10.25
SALARY: Per Diem Rate/$135 per day

- Evaluate children's abilities, recommend and provide therapy, modify classroom equipment, and help children participate as fully as possible in school programs and activities.
- Communicates results of evaluations and recommendations to the staff and families.
- Consult with students, parents, teachers, administrators and members of the special education team concerning learning strategies and/or sensory support for students.
- Assists teachers to develop remediation techniques, which are applicable to particular classroom situations.
- Serves as a resource person to the building teams regarding fine motor, visual-motor and sensory based needs.
- Help students improve their ability to perform tasks in their daily living and school environments.
- Maintains appropriate records and reports of contacts with students, parents, school conferences, agency contacts, etc.
- Supervises the use and confidentiality of records for the protection of the individuals involved.
