What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Mechanic position at Tompkins Metal Finishing?
Maintenance Technician wanted for our metal finishing and plating facility that employs 70 people. This is a job that requires moderate lifting and moving, mechanical ability, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills, work independently, adhere to safety procedures and wear proper PPE as required. Knowledge of electrical (480 Volt a plus), general plumbing, compressors, boilers, motors and hoists, etc. is preferred, but will train the right person with limited experience, wage offered is commensurate with experience.
