TCAT is seeking a meticulous and dedicated Accounts Payable Specialist to play a key role in our finance team.
In this full-cycle position, you’ll ensure accuracy and efficiency by reviewing invoices, resolving discrepancies, and managing relationships. You’ll provide exceptional customer service to internal teams and external partners while handling sensitive financial information with the highest level of professionalism and discretion.
What You’ll Do
As our AP Specialist, you’ll be the go-to person for vendor payables and day-to-day accounting support. Your responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing invoices, vouchers, and statements for accuracy.
- Reconciling purchase orders and resolving discrepancies.
- Managing full-cycle Accounts Payable, including G/L coding and data entry in MIP software.
- Processing payments, journal vouchers, and maintaining accurate records.
- Assisting with inventory tracking and supply orders.
- Providing backup support for procurement and grant reporting.
- Delivering exceptional customer service to internal and external partners.

- Do you have 2-4 years of education plus 1-3 years experience in accounting?
- Are you detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage competing deadlines with a positive, can-do attitude?
- Do you love spreadsheets, solving problems, and analytical thinking?
- Are you comfortable with manual general ledger coding?
- Experience with IBM Maximo or MIP Cloud accounting software is a plus!
