About the Role
As a High Net Worth Financial Strategist at Tompkins Community Bank, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining client relationships, creating personalized wealth plans, and coordinating financial strategies to align with each client's goals and values. Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Building: Build and maintain existing client relationships by fostering trust, understanding, and strong communication.
- Wealth Planning: Create personalized wealth plans using a structured planning process and financial planning software to provide clients with a clear and comprehensive picture of their financial situation.
- Business Development: Prospect for new business in the community and introduce clients to Tompkins Financial services, seeking referrals through centers of influence, existing clients, community involvement, and other professional external client resources.
- Accountability: In partnership with the client strategy team, ensure that the bank's client experience standards for Financial Planning and Client Relationship development are met.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent specialized training/relevant experience.
- One (1) to five (5) years of solid experience in Wealth Management, Business Development, and Relationship Management functions.
- FINRA 7, 63 & 66 licenses, PA Life & Health License, and clean U4 required. CFP, CPA, or JD certification(s) preferred.

Compensation
The estimated salary for this role is $80,000 - $120,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
