Position Overview:
We are seeking a Montessori-Certified Lead Toddler Teacher to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Montessori philosophy, a passion for guiding young children through their early developmental stages, and the ability to create a calm, engaging, and respectful classroom environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a toddler classroom in alignment with Montessori principles.
- Prepare and maintain a safe, organized, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Foster independence, confidence, and social-emotional growth in each child.
- Observe, document, and assess student progress to guide individualized learning.
- Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and administrators.
- Collaborate with assistant teachers to ensure consistency and quality in classroom practices.
Qualifications:
- Montessori Certification (AMS, AMI, or MACTE-accredited) required.
- Minimum of 1–2 years of classroom experience working with toddlers (ages 18 months–3 years).
- Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
- Warm, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with children and families.
