Job Summary:
The Training and Engagement Coordinator at Tomorrow House Supportive Living is responsible for managing all aspects of staff training and engagement activities to support the agency's mission.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and deliver training programs tailored to SLS, CFS, and ILS services, including person-centered practices, communication skills, safety, and Title 17 compliance.
- Oversee new hire orientation, ensuring staff are well-prepared to provide high-quality care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Develop training materials, including manuals, presentations, and e-learning resources, to ensure consistency and accessibility.
- Track and maintain training records, certifications, and compliance requirements for all staff.
- Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, performance metrics, and ongoing assessments
- Provide specialized training sessions, such as crisis intervention, behavioral supports, and client goal tracking, tailored to program-specific needs.
- Plan and execute agency-wide events, such as picnics, appreciation dinners, contests, and holiday parties, to promote community and morale.
- Develop client-focused engagement activities aligned with their Individual Support Plans (ISPs), including skill-building workshops, recreational outings, and creative contests.
- Implement staff appreciation programs, such as recognition awards, raffles, and wellness initiatives, to boost morale and retention.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Services, Psychology, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in training, engagement, or program coordination, ideally in developmental disabilities or supported living services.
- Experience designing and delivering training programs for compliance with Title 17 regulations.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Knowledge of best practices in training, engagement, and developmental disabilities services.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build strong relationships with staff, clients, and families.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and learning management systems (LMS).
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position, primarily on-site with occasional travel to community events and training locations.
