Motion Graphic Designer

Job Summary

The Motion/Graphic Designer will create logos, graphics, printed material, videos, social media posts and more, using their own creativity, and the tools provided in the Adobe Creative Cloud. Working on a team, underneath the Creative Director, the Motion/Graphic Designer will satisfy design needs for all of Tomoka Christian Church’s campuses.

Responsibilities:

• Working with other creative team members to produce content
• Creating guidelines for how logos and other branding materials should be displayed and used
• Helping make design choices, such as fonts and colors, for all content 
• The ability to clearly communicate the reasoning behind design choices
• Is proficient with apps in the Adobe Creative Cloud such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro
• Has an eye for design and aesthetics on all types of media from printed materials to web graphics and video elements.
• Can understand and satisfy prompts obtained from communication requests, while maintaining control of the quality of the end product
• Can meet deadlines for projects, even those with minimal turnaround time.
• Can accept criticism, even if it means restarting a project. 
• Adheres to the Branding Guide for all Tomoka-related projects.
• Is willing to infrequently travel to other campuses to better understand the scope of a project.
• Thinks, dreams, produces, and solves problems creatively.

Skills/Qualifications:

• A heart and passion to connect people to a life-changing relationship with Jesus through visual communication.
• Knowledge about design elements, such as color, composition and fonts
• Knowledge of Adobe suites
• Artistic ability and creativity
• Communication skills.
• Understand and enthusiastically support Tomoka’s mission, vision, and values. 

Tomoka Christian Church is a ministry, and exists to passionately affect our world with the life-changing Gospel of Jesus Christ.
