Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, crafting and serving a variety of beverages, and ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience for our guests. This is a tipped position. Our Bartenders clear much higher than the base pay listed when factoring in tips.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Take drink orders from customers and provide recommendations when needed
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards
- Take food and pizza orders.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Monitor alcohol consumption and ensure responsible serving practices
- Handle cash transactions accurately using cash register or POS system
- Engage with customers, answer questions, and provide information about menu items
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
- Upsell drinks and promote special offers to increase sales
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Bartender in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of drink recipes, and beverage preparation techniques
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and ability to operate a cash register or POS system
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food handling regulations is preferred but not required
